• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will undergo a background investigation.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applicants with criminal histories as permitted by law.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

• Prepare clear incident reports and communicate with healthcare staff, patients, visitors, and public-service personnel.

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Driver in Towson, MD, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer in a healthcare setting, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support patients, visitors, and staff with exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and others at a healthcare location while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site protocols and contacting appropriate personnel or emergency responders when needed.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location, reporting suspicious conditions, hazards, and policy violations to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.
• Prepare clear, accurate incident reports and maintain professional communication with healthcare staff, patients, visitors, and public-service personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Have at least 2 years of service in a healthcare or medical-related field.
• Be able to lift more than 20 pounds, preferred.
• Have customer service experience, preferred.
• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
