• Monitor and control access points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, issue visitor badges as directed, and maintain records.
• Observe activity at entry points and production areas, report unauthorized access or unusual activity.
• Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and emergencies following established procedures.
• Conduct regular patrols of access points, production areas, parking, and perimeter to deter incidents.

As an Access Control Officer at a food and beverage location, you will help manage entry points, verify access credentials, monitor activity using computer or tablet-based systems, and provide professional customer service to employees and visitors. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $18.75 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Fri: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
Sun: 06:00 AM - 06:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities at a food and beverage production location.
• Monitor and control access points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, issue visitor badges as directed, and maintain accurate access and incident records.
• Observe incoming and outgoing vehicle, vendor, and delivery activity in accordance with site procedures, reporting unauthorized access attempts or unusual activity to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and emergency procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, production-adjacent areas, parking areas, and the property perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
