Allied Universal in Vacaville, CA is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Access Control to safeguard clients across healthcare facilities and other sites. You will perform routine patrols, monitor entrances, and maintain a visible presence to deter incidents while delivering courteous service to patients, visitors, and staff.

This role emphasizes professional communication, adherence to site procedures, and prompt response to alarms or incidents.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of security-related experience.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Background check and drug screen required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and delivery drivers by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures.
• Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional manner.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of the facility, perimeter, parking areas, and entry points to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to controlled areas, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and maintain security logs and incident documentation.
• Report hazards, damaged property, suspicious activity, and policy violations to site contacts or leadership.

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Access Control in Vacaville, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Wed 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM
• Thu 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM
• Sat 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM
• Sun 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and delivery drivers by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, pharmaceutical facility policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating issues according to established procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, perimeter, parking areas, entry points, and other assigned locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access to controlled areas, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and maintain accurate security-related logs and incident documentation.
• Support a professional environment by reporting hazards, damaged property, suspicious activity, and policy violations to the appropriate site contacts or Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
