Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is hiring a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed First Aid Response in Vance, AL. You will guard clients across automotive locations, perform patrols, manage access control, deter incidents, and deliver courteous service while upholding site procedures.

Requirements include CPR/First Aid certifications preferred, experience with badge systems, and a high school diploma.

Qualifications

• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
• Experience with access control and badge systems preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Guard card or license preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles; high school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants subject to background investigation and drug screen where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws; driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner and report observations according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the automotive location, including buildings, parking areas, vehicle storage areas, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization as directed by site procedures, and help to deter unauthorized entry.
• Document patrols, incidents, and unusual conditions accurately and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed First Aid Response in Vance, AL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. Our Security Officers monitor and patrol a dynamic automotive location, helping to maintain a secure environment for employees, visitors, and operations. You will conduct routine patrols, support access control, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $17.50 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
