Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed in Tampa, FL. You will patrol campus areas, deter security incidents, and provide excellent customer service in both Spanish and English.

This role requires reporting observations clearly and maintaining a welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors. Minimum requirements include fluency in Spanish, a high school diploma or equivalent, and the ability to pass a background check and drug screen.

• Prepare clear, accurate incident and patrol reports and maintain activity logs.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed in Tampa, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer, you will monitor and patrol assigned campus areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly in Spanish and English, and report observations with integrity. Pay Rate: $18.05 / Hour

Job Schedule: DayTime Tue 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM Wed 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM Sat 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM Sun 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, and visitors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of campus buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and policy concerns.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and communicating with appropriate personnel and emergency responders.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site policies, assisting with access-control and credential-verification processes as assigned.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain required activity logs for incidents, observations, and patrol activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be fluent in speaking, reading, and writing Spanish.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
