Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer (Full Time Patrol Readiness) in Tampa, FL. You will monitor and patrol a retail property, maintain a visible presence to deter incidents, and provide a welcoming environment for shoppers, tenants, and visitors.

• Provide customer service to tenants, shoppers, visitors, and personnel by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of common areas, parking lots, building exteriors, and perimeter areas.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations calmly and professionally, notifying appropriate personnel and responders.
• Monitor access points and report suspicious behavior, maintenance concerns, hazards, and policy violations.
• Complete accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications while maintaining a professional presence.

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a retail location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for shoppers, tenants, and visitors. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, shoppers, visitors, and personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a retail property.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of common areas, parking lots, building exteriors, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and/or public responders as needed.
• Monitor access points, observe activity throughout the property, and report suspicious behavior, maintenance concerns, hazards, and policy violations according to site procedures.
• Complete accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications while maintaining a professional presence and courteous interactions with the public.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
