As a Security Officer Full Time - Unarmed in Ladson, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. As an Access Control Security Professional at a premier automotive location, you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, support badge-related processes, and provide outstanding customer service. You will remain visible, communicate professionally, and help deter security-related incidents while supporting a welcoming environment. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal Driver Policy requirements. Pay Rate: $17.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Tue 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Wed 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Thur 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Fri 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, employees, and delivery personnel while carrying out site‑specific access‑control procedures and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor and manage access points at an automotive manufacturing or dealership location, verifying credentials, visitor authorization, and delivery documentation in accordance with site policies.
• Maintain accurate visitor, contractor, and vehicle entry records; issue and retrieve authorized access credentials as directed by site procedures.
• Respond to access-control concerns, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, communicating with appropriate site contacts and emergency personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of designated entrances, parking areas, business operations, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security‑related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
