• Respond to incidents and alarms calmly and request additional assistance when needed.
• Prepare accurate daily activity and incident reports per Allied Universal and site requirements.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time TWIC Patrol Driver in Jacksonville, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an unarmed Security Officer supporting a government port location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, contractors, and port personnel while carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control requirements, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned port facilities, buildings, parking areas, perimeter areas, and waterfront-adjacent locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials as required, document visitor and contractor activity, and report unauthorized access attempts or unusual conditions to the appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; communicate observations clearly and request additional assistance when needed.
• Prepare accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and patrol documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a TSA-issued TWIC.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
