Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time TWIC in Savannah, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a petrochemical location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. You will support a caring, team-focused environment while demonstrating integrity, reliability, and adaptability in helping protect people, property, and operations.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a liquefied natural gas and petrochemical location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facility areas, perimeter boundaries, access points, and exterior grounds to help identify unusual conditions and help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying credentials, directing visitors and contractors, and following established entry and exit procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site‑specific protocols.
• Document patrols, observations, incidents, and shift activities accurately and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Possess a TSA-issued TWIC.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
