• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors while carrying out site-specific security procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, production areas, parking areas, perimeter boundaries, and other assigned locations.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, maintain logs, and report unauthorized access attempts or security concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and coordinate with site contacts and responders.
• Document patrol observations and shift activities accurately and promptly per reporting requirements.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time TSA Issued TWIC Patrol Driver in Houston, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, monitor access points, and report security-related concerns. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license and TSA-issued TWIC. Deliver exceptional customer service and communication while supporting Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, people-first culture with teamwork and integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors while carrying out site-specific security procedures, access-control requirements, and emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical processing location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, production areas, parking areas, perimeter boundaries, and other assigned locations to help identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, maintain visitor and contractor logs, and report unauthorized access attempts or security-related concerns according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as directed.
• Document patrol observations, incidents, and shift activities accurately and promptly, following Allied Universal and site reporting requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• A TSA-issued TWIC is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
