Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Driver with TWIC compliance for our La Porte, TX site. You will conduct vehicle and foot patrols, deter incidents, and provide exceptional customer service to clients in a chemical/petrochemical environment.

Role requires a valid driver’s license, TWIC, and the ability to follow site-specific security procedures. Daily shifts include day and night hours across a rotating schedule.

As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Driver TWIC Compliance in La Porte, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As a Driving Unarmed Patrol Officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, production areas, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site-specific requirements, reporting unauthorized access attempts or unusual activity.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and communicate observations to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Observe and report unusual conditions, including spills, leaks, damaged barriers, or equipment concerns, while following site-specific reporting procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A TSA-issued TWIC is required.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
