Job Description

As a Security Guard Unarmed TWIC Patrol Driver in Deer Park, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a chemical/petrochemical location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel and visitors while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a chemical/petrochemical location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as directed, and document visitor, vehicle, and delivery activity in accordance with site requirements.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and public emergency services as directed.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of patrol findings, incidents, policy violations, and potentially hazardous conditions, and communicate observations to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Possess a Transportation Worker Identification Credential issued by the Transportation Security Administration.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
