• Monitor access to the location by checking credentials, directing visitors and contractors, and documenting entries and departures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations with calm problem-solving and notify site contacts and emergency responders as needed.
• Complete accurate incident reports, daily activity logs, and shift communications.

As a Security Officer Full Time Surveillance in Lima, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol a manufacturing and industrial location, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will conduct routine rounds, observe and report conditions, respond to site needs, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $20.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Fri: 10:00 AM - 10:00 PM
• Sat: 10:00 AM - 10:00 PM
• Sun: 10:00 AM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at an industrial manufacturing location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, production-adjacent areas, parking areas, access points, and the perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location by checking credentials, directing visitors and contractors, and documenting entries and departures in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as needed.
• Complete accurate incident reports, daily activity logs, and shift communications to support ongoing security-related operations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
