Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies, including emergency response when needed at an industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly following site procedures and escalation protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, buildings, access points, parking areas, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor and report security concerns, hazardous conditions, equipment issues, and policy violations to site contacts or Allied Universal leadership.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and activity accurately per site requirements.

As a Security Officer Flex Unarmed Patrol in Lima, OH, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $20.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Mon 10:00 AM - 10:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an industrial manufacturing location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, following established site procedures and escalation protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, buildings, access points, parking areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor and report security‑related concerns, hazardous conditions, equipment issues, and policy violations to the appropriate site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and visitor or contractor activity accurately in accordance with site‑specific requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
