Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

As a Security Officer Full Time Secure Entry Monitor in Kutztown, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, you will help manage entry points, monitor access activity, conduct routine patrols, and support a welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and drivers. Your visible presence and strong communication skills will help deter security-related incidents while delivering exceptional customer service. Pay Rate: $17.30 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and/or employees by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and authorization, document visitor and contractor entry, and direct authorized personnel and vehicles in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders as required.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, loading areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify unauthorized activity, unsecured access points, and other security-related concerns.
• Maintain accurate activity logs, incident reports, and access records while communicating professionally with site personnel and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
