Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Screening Examiner in Shepherdsville, KY. You will serve clients by screening visitors, monitoring access points, and communicating professionally with employees and guests in a high-traffic facility.

Responsibilities include enforcing access-control procedures, reporting irregularities, and responding calmly to incidents. A high school diploma is required, and background checks and drug screens are part of the process.

Qualifications

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a high-traffic location while following site-specific procedures and security policies.
• Screen individuals and their belongings in accordance with access-control procedures, verifying credentials and directing authorized visitors.
• Monitor entry points and screening equipment, report irregularities or access concerns to site contacts.
• Respond to incidents and alarms following emergency procedures and communicate with management and first responders.

Pay Rate: $17.63 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Tue 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Wed 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Thur 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Fri 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sat 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a high-traffic technology, media, and telecommunications location while carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related policies.
• Screen individuals and their belongings in accordance with established access-control procedures, verifying credentials and directing authorized visitors to appropriate check-in locations.
• Monitor entry points, visitor activity, and screening equipment, reporting irregularities, prohibited items, or access concerns to the appropriate site contacts.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following emergency response procedures and communicating relevant information to management and first responders.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned screening areas, entry points, and surrounding business perimeter to help deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
