Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, seeks a Security Officer Full Time Screener in Pooler, GA to protect clients across logistics and distribution sites. You’ll screen personnel and visitors, monitor access points, and report security concerns while delivering professional, courteous service.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background checks and drug screening are part of employment.
• Licensing requirements may apply by state/local laws.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to drivers, visitors, and employees by carrying out site-specific security procedures and access-control policies.
• Screen personnel, visitors, and permitted items entering designated areas and report prohibited or unusual items or activity.
• Monitor access points, shipping and receiving areas, and screening equipment to deter unauthorized entry and support operations.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular patrols of the facility and surrounding areas, documenting observations and concerns.

As a Security Officer Full Time Screener in Pooler, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to drivers, visitors, and employees by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Screen personnel, visitors, and permitted items entering designated areas in accordance with site procedures, documenting and reporting prohibited or unusual items or activity.
• Monitor access points, shipping and receiving areas, and screening equipment to help deter unauthorized entry and support orderly facility operations.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
