Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Rounds

Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $16.80 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Wed 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM
• Thur 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM
• Sat 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM
• Sun 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to store associates, customers, and visitors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of the retail location, parking areas, loading areas, entrances, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or potential hazards.
• Monitor access points and observe customer and employee activity to help deter theft, trespassing, unauthorized access, and other policy violations.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical situations, and critical events in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and contacting appropriate personnel or emergency services as needed.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and communicate observations, incidents, and concerns to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
