Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Residential Access in Calabasas, CA to protect residents and guests, control access, verify credentials, and patrol the community. This driving role requires a valid driver's license and strong customer service.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check as a condition of employment.
• Drug screen as a condition of employment.
• Licensing requirements may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to residents, guests, vendors, and visitors while carrying out site-specific access control.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify authorized access, maintain visitor records, and direct guests and service providers.
• Respond to access-related incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional manner.
• Conduct regular patrols of entry points, common areas, and perimeter locations and report observations.
• Document daily activities and incidents using required reporting procedures.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Residential Access in Calabasas, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As a Security Officer at a residential community, you will manage access control, verify visitors and credentials, and conduct routine patrols to help deter security-related incidents. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license. You will provide professional customer service and clear communication while supporting a welcoming environment. What You'll Do:

• Document daily activities, incidents, and/or access-related concerns accurately and promptly using required reporting procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
