Security Officer Full Time Reception Support in Glendale, CA

You will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As a Front Desk Security Professional with Allied Universal, you will serve as a welcoming, professional presence at a commercial office location. You will manage visitor access, monitor entry activity, respond to security-related concerns, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour

Job Schedule: Wed: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
Thur: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
Fri: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
Sat: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
Sun: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Staff the front desk, greet visitors, verify access authorization, and/or direct guests, vendors, and employees in accordance with site procedures.
• Monitor visitor activity and access points, maintain required logs and records, and communicate relevant information to site contacts.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Assist with access control and reception-area coverage while maintaining a professional, customer-focused presence.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
