Qualifications

As a Security Officer Visitor Registration in Glendale, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As a Front Desk Security Professional with Allied Universal, you will be the welcoming, professional presence at a commercial office location. You will manage access control, greet visitors, verify credentials, issue badges, and communicate clearly with tenants and guests to help maintain a secure environment. Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and tenants by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor access to the location, greet and direct visitors, verify authorized entry, and maintain visitor logs and/or related records.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate personnel when needed.
• Monitor front-desk communications, receive calls and deliveries, and provide accurate information and assistance in accordance with site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
