Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, invites you to join as a Security Officer Full Time Guest Arrival Services in Chicago, IL. You will greet visitors, verify IDs, control access, monitor activity, and respond to incidents with calm, professional service.

This front desk role requires a high school diploma or equivalent; background checks and drug screening are standard. CPR certification and a Guard Card are preferred.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and clients at a front desk location by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Greet visitors, verify identification and access authorization, maintain visitor records, and direct guests to the appropriate destination.
• Monitor access points, cameras, alarms, and other security-related systems; report unusual activity, access concerns, and maintenance issues according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate personnel and emergency services when needed.
• Maintain a professional front desk presence, answer phones, provide basic information, and support a welcoming environment for occupants and visitors.

As a Front Desk Security Professional in a retail location, you will be the welcoming presence for visitors, employees, and tenants while supporting a secure environment. You will manage access, greet and assist guests, monitor activity, and communicate clearly regarding security-related concerns. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Wed 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Thur 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Fri 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sat 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Sun 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
