Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer - Secure Facility in Scottsdale, AZ to protect clients across commercial real estate sites. You will manage access, greet tenants and visitors, monitor entry points, and respond to incidents with professionalism.

As a Front Desk Security Officer, you will provide exceptional customer service, document activity, and coordinate with building management. The role is full-time with day-time shifts and competitive pay.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to background investigation as per laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applicants with criminal histories.
• Drug screen may be required.
• Licensing requirements may be required.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and clients at a commercial real estate location by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control protocols, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Serve as a professional front-desk presence by greeting visitors, verifying identification and/or appointments, issuing visitor credentials, and directing individuals according to site procedures.
• Monitor access to the building lobby and related entry points, maintain visitor and contractor logs, and report unauthorized access attempts or unusual activity to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and notification procedures.
• Assist with answering phones, receiving deliveries, maintaining required records, and communicating relevant security-related information to building management and Allied Universal leadership.
