Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is hiring a Security Officer for Full Time Reception Services in Beverly Hills, CA. You will welcome visitors, manage access, monitor entry activity, and deliver outstanding customer service in a media/tech environment.

You’ll work a set schedule with morning and weekend shifts, perform front desk duties, maintain logs, report incidents, and coordinate with site contacts and emergency responders as needed.

Responsibilities

Security Officer Full Time Reception Services

Beverly Hills, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Front Desk Security Officer in a dynamic media and technology environment, you will welcome visitors, manage access, monitor entry activity, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. You will help maintain a professional, secure atmosphere while supporting security-related needs at the location. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $22.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM
• Tue 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM
• Sat 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Sun 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, talent, and/or vendors at a front desk within a media and entertainment office location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Greet visitors professionally, verify identification and appointment information, and manage visitor registration and access in accordance with site procedures.
• Monitor front desk activity, access points, and available security-related systems, reporting unusual activity, maintenance concerns, and/or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters and coordinating with site contacts and/or emergency responders as directed.
• Maintain accurate logs, visitor records, incident documentation, and shift communications in accordance with Allied Universal and client site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
