As a Security Officer Full Time Reception Security in Mc Lean, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Front Desk Security Professional at a premier retail location, you will welcome guests, manage access control and badge processes, and provide exceptional customer service. Using computer or tablet systems, you will support a professional, secure environment while helping to address security-related concerns. What You'll Do:

• Provide a professional, welcoming presence at the front desk of a luxury retail location while carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Greet visitors, employees, vendors, and/or delivery personnel; verify access authorization; and maintain visitor logs in accordance with site requirements.
• Monitor access points, cameras, alarms, and other security-related systems from the front desk; report unusual activity, access concerns, or equipment issues to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, service-oriented, problem-solving manner, following emergency response procedures when appropriate.
• Assist with maintaining a controlled, orderly front-of-house environment and help to deter unauthorized access through attentive observation and courteous communication.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Experience with access control and badge processes is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
