Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is hiring a Security Officer Full Time Reception Driver with DoD Secret clearance for our Linthicum Heights, MD location. You will staff the front desk, verify IDs, manage access, monitor cameras, and respond calmly to incidents while representing a professional, customer-focused posture.

This full-time role offers a daytime schedule, competitive pay at $23.19 per hour, and benefits including health and retirement

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of security-related experience.
• Active DoD Secret Clearance is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required per Allied Universal policy.
• State/county/city security license is preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation required by applicable laws.
• Criminal histories considered in accordance with applicable laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• Driver license required for driving positions only.

As a Security Officer Full Time Reception Driver Security Clearance in Linthicum Heights, MD, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As a Front Desk Security Officer supporting a dynamic aerospace and defense location, you will serve as a welcoming, professional presence, manage access, monitor entry activity, and assist visitors and personnel with clear communication and exceptional customer service. This driving position offers the opportunity to represent Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, and caring culture while working with integrity and teamwork to help deter security-related incidents.

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Staff the front desk and manage visitor access by verifying identification, maintaining visitor logs, issuing credentials as directed, and communicating entry requirements.
• Monitor access points, cameras, alarms, and other security-related systems from the front desk, reporting unusual activity or equipment concerns according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters to appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders.
• Maintain accurate records, complete required reports, and communicate professionally with site personnel, visitors, and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least one year of security-related experience.
• Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
