Qualifications

• 1 year or more of security-related experience.
• Active DoD Secret clearance required.
• Valid driver’s license is required per policy.
• State/local security license preferred.
• Must be 18+ for unarmed, 21+ for armed positions.
• Background check conducted as required by law.
• Criminal histories considered in line with laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Driver’s license required for driving roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors and delivery personnel by following security procedures.
• Operate the front desk: greet visitors, verify IDs, issue credentials, log visitors, direct guests per site rules.
• Monitor lobby access and report unusual activity or access concerns.
• Respond to incidents calmly and follow escalation procedures.
• Assist with administrative and communications tasks: phones, deliveries, records, and coordination with site personnel.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Operate the front desk by greeting visitors, verifying identification and authorization, issuing visitor credentials, maintaining visitor logs, and directing guests in accordance with site requirements.
• Monitor access to the facility lobby and controlled entry points, report unusual activity or access concerns, and help to deter unauthorized entry.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and notification procedures.
• Support administrative and communications functions, including answering phones, receiving deliveries, maintaining required records, and coordinating with site personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Possess an active DoD Secret clearance.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A state, county, or city-issued license for security-related work is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
