Job summary

Allied Universal in Nashville, TN is seeking a Security Officer for full-time perimeter security at a commercial real estate site. You will perform unarmed patrols, maintain a visible security presence, and deliver excellent customer service to tenants and visitors.

Responsibilities include responding to incidents, monitoring access, and reporting concerns, while adhering to site policies. Minimum 2 years of security experience and a high school diploma are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of security-related experience.
• Age 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check as required by law.
• Criminal history considered in compliance with laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements per state/local laws;
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

• Document patrols, incidents, and daily activities in reports with professionalism.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Perimeter Security in Nashville, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for tenants and visitors. What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors, and/or clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access to the property, observe visitor and vendor activity, and report suspicious conditions, maintenance concerns, and policy violations according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate personnel and emergency responders as directed by site protocols.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and daily activities in clear, accurate reports while maintaining a professional presence throughout the property.

Minimum Requirements

• Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
