Job summary

Allied Universal in Latrobe, PA seeks a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol / Reporting to protect clients in healthcare and other settings, monitor premises, deter incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service to patients, staff and visitors.

You will conduct regular and random patrols, monitor access points, respond to incidents and alarms, and document observations in accordance with site procedures. Training and development opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen as required by law.
• Licensing may be required by state/local laws.
• Valid driver's license for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and appropriate emergency response activities in a healthcare setting.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directions and escorts as assigned, and report unusual or unauthorized activity.
• Document patrols, incidents, and observations accurately and promptly in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol / Reporting in Latrobe, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an unarmed Security Officer at a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support patients, visitors, and staff with exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
