As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Driver Tablet Reporting in Paramus, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Security Officer at a premier retail and mall location. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, assist visitors, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $19.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• DayTimeMon03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Wed03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Fri03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Sat03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, shoppers, visitors, and/or employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the mall, including common areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations, with working conditions varying by site.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Observe and report unusual activity, hazards, and/or policy violations to appropriate personnel, helping to deter unauthorized activity.
• Assist with access control, directional assistance, and communication with mall personnel and emergency responders as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
