Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Driver in Bronx, NY. You will protect clients across Retail/Malls and Commercial Real Estate, performing vehicle patrols and maintaining a strong, welcoming presence to deter issues and serve customers.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Driver in Bronx, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an unarmed Security Officer supporting retail and commercial real estate locations, you will conduct routine vehicle patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license. You will communicate professionally with visitors and tenants while supporting a welcoming environment through teamwork, integrity, and Allied Universal’s caring culture.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, retailers, and/or employees by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control practices, and emergency response activities at a retail and commercial property location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and documenting events in accordance with site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of common areas, retail spaces, parking areas, entrances, and the property perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location, reporting suspicious behavior, hazards, maintenance concerns, and/or policy violations to site management or Allied Universal leadership.
• Maintain accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift communications while providing a professional presence for guests and occupants.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid New York State Security Guard License is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
