Allied Universal, a leading security and facility services company, is hiring a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Site Integrity in Tampa, FL. You will serve clients across Retail/Malls and other sectors, conducting routine patrols and maintaining a visible, welcoming presence while upholding Allied Universal's values.

Responsibilities include responding to incidents calmly, assisting visitors and tenants, and reporting hazards per site procedures.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required per federal, state and local laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• A valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

• Respond to incidents and concerns in a calm, problem-solving manner and report observations to appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random foot and vehicle patrols of retail areas, storefronts, parking areas, and property perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor for security-related concerns and hazardous conditions and report findings per site procedures.
• Assist with directing visitors, providing information, and maintaining a professional presence in a welcoming retail environment.

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Site Integrity in Tampa, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a retail and mall location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service to visitors, tenants, and staff. You will communicate clearly, respond to concerns, and support a welcoming environment while demonstrating Allied Universal's values of agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, care, and integrity.

Pay Rate: $15.60 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 01:00 PM - 09:00 PM
• Tue: 01:00 PM - 09:00 PM
• Wed: 01:00 PM - 09:00 PM
• Sun: 01:00 PM - 09:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, shoppers, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a retail property.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating observations to appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of retail common areas, storefronts, parking areas, access points, and the property perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor for security-related concerns, hazardous conditions, and policy violations, and report findings according to site procedures.
• Assist with directing visitors, providing information, and maintaining a professional presence while supporting a welcoming retail environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
