Job summary

Allied Universal in Greensboro, NC is seeking a Security Officer for Full Time Patrol Operations at healthcare facilities. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, deter incidents, support access control, and communicate courteously with patients, visitors, and staff.

Qualifications

• Has at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors while carrying out site-specific procedures and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, patient or visitor concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of healthcare facility buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor screening, directions, and adherence to facility access procedures.
• Complete accurate reports and communicate observations, incidents, and other security-related concerns to site leadership and Allied Universal management.
