Job summary

Allied Universal® is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Driver in Clayton, NC. You will provide customer service, conduct interior and perimeter patrols, monitor access points, and respond to incidents for a healthcare location.

A valid driver’s license is required; CPR/First Aid are preferred, and background checks & drug screening may apply. Daytime to night shifts are available with a full-time schedule.

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles (21+ for armed roles).
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation required by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• State/local licensing may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to staff, visitors, donors, and vendors by following site policies and emergency procedures.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations calmly and according to protocols.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of the healthcare location, including interiors and perimeter areas.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry; report unusual conditions to site leadership.
• Complete accurate daily activity and incident reports per site requirements.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Driver in Clayton, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control activities. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to staff, visitors, donors, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the healthcare location, including building interiors, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas, to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorized entry as directed, and report unusual conditions, hazards, or policy concerns to site leadership.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
