Allied Universal is hiring an Unarmed Security Officer for our Service Center in Greenville, SC. You will patrol, deter incidents, assist with access control, and provide exceptional customer service to patients, visitors, and staff in a healthcare setting.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Unarmed - Service Center in Greenville, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. This driving position offers the opportunity to assist patients, visitors, and staff while representing Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, and caring culture through teamwork and integrity.

Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $18.69 / Hour

Job Schedule:

This is a full-time position. You can expect to work a minimum of 30 hours per week. The schedule for this position has not been assigned yet. If you are selected to move forward, your schedule will be determined as you progress through the hiring, onboarding, and training process. Your manager will work with you to assign a schedule based on business needs before your start date.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner while following facility protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout healthcare facilities, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Assist with access control, visitor management, and monitoring of restricted areas in accordance with site-specific requirements.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately and communicate relevant information to appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
