Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer for a full-time, unarmed patrol at a financial institution location in Canonsburg, PA. The role pays $16.50 per hour with a Monday–Friday 8:00 AM–4:00 PM schedule.

You will provide customer service, conduct patrols, monitor access, respond to incidents, and document activities per site procedures. Minimum requirements include 18+ (21+ for armed), HS diploma, background check, drug screen, and a valid driver's license where applicable.

• Wed 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM
• Thur 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM
• Fri 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM

What You’ll Do

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and potential security-related concerns.
• Monitor access to the location, verify visitor authorization as required, and report unauthorized persons, suspicious activity, and maintenance concerns according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate personnel and emergency services when needed.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and daily activities accurately in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific reporting requirements.

Minimum Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
