Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and/or vendors at a utility location by carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facility grounds, buildings, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as directed, and report unauthorized access attempts or unusual activity to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical situations, severe weather events, and other critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and activity logs, and communicate observations, incidents, and maintenance concerns to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Driving Role in Coral Gables, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. As a Patrol Officer at a utilities location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and report observations. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy. You will provide exceptional customer service and communication while supporting a caring, reliable team that acts with integrity.

Pay Rate: $22.00 / Hour

• Fri: 11:00 AM - 07:00 PM
• Sat: 11:00 AM - 07:00 PM
• Sun: 11:00 AM - 07:00 PM

Minimum Requirements:

• At least two years of security-related experience is required.
• Supervisory experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
