Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors by following site policies and emergency procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations; document observations per site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, parking areas, entry points and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity; verify credentials and report suspicious activity.
• Complete daily activity, incident, and patrol logs and communicate information during shift handoffs.

As a Security Guard Full Time Asset Protection in West Palm Beach, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security‑related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy. Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Tue 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Wed 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Sat 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Sun 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner; document observations and actions according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security‑related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site policy, and report suspicious or unusual activity to appropriate personnel.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and patrol logs, and communicate relevant information during shift handoffs.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Guard card is required.
• A state, county, or city‑issued security professional license is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
