Job summary

Allied Universal in Lima, OH is seeking a Security Officer - Full Time Patrol Driving to serve and safeguard client sites across manufacturing and industrial locations. This role requires driving, routine patrols, and a strong customer-service mindset.

• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, pass a background investigation and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, access-control practices, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at an industrial manufacturing location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, production-adjacent areas, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and document visitor, contractor, and delivery activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; communicate observations to appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as needed.
• Prepare clear, accurate incident reports and daily activity logs while following Allied Universal and site-specific reporting requirements.

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
