Allied Universal in Little Rock, AR seeks a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Driver Customer Assistance. You will provide customer service to shoppers, tenants, and employees while conducting routine patrols and monitoring access points at a retail/mall location.

A valid driver's license is required; CPR/First Aid is preferred; 18+; background checks and drug screening apply; pay rate is $17 per hour with weekly pay and daytime schedule.

Qualifications

• Comfort using a computer or tablet.

Responsibilities

Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Driver Customer Assistance in Little Rock, AR, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a retail and mall location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for shoppers, tenants, and visitors. This driving post requires a valid driver's license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Bring strong communication and customer service skills while representing Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, and people-first culture with integrity and teamwork.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to shoppers, tenants, visitors, and/or employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout retail common areas, parking areas, loading zones, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify unusual activity and potential security-related concerns.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as needed.
• Monitor access points, tenant areas, and restricted locations in accordance with site procedures, and report suspicious activity, hazards, and policy violations to site leadership.
• Document patrols, incidents, and daily activities accurately and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
