Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is seeking a Security Officer at our Purchase, NY site. This full-time patrol driver role focuses on customer service, routine patrols, access control, and incident response within a food and beverage environment.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and delivery personnel while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of production, warehouse, loading dock, parking, and perimeter areas; report unusual conditions and potential security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry for employees, contractors, vendors, and drivers in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency services when needed.
• Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Security Officer Full Time Patrol Driver

Location: Purchase, NY

As a Security Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol a dynamic food and beverage location, maintaining a visible presence to help deter incidents. This driving post includes conducting routine patrols, responding to security-related concerns, and delivering professional customer service. $19.25 - $20.25 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Tue 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Wed 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Thur 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Fri 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Sat 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

What You’ll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a New York State Security Guard License.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
