Allied Universal in Purchase, NY is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Driver to protect clients across food/beverage facilities and other sites. You will drive patrols, maintain visibility, and deliver professional customer service while following site policies.

The position offers full-time hours, a pay rate of $19.25 to $20.25 per hour, and requires NY security license, age 21+, valid driver's license, and HS diploma.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and delivery personnel while following site policies and emergency procedures as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of production, warehouse, loading dock, parking, and perimeter areas; report unusual conditions and potential security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry for employees, contractors, vendors, and drivers in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency services when needed.
• Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

What You’ll Do:

• Conduct regular and random patrols of food and beverage production, warehouse, loading dock, parking, and perimeter areas; report unusual conditions and potential security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry for employees, contractors, vendors, and drivers in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency services when needed.
• Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a New York State Security Guard License.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
