Job summary

Allied Universal in Buffalo, NY is seeking a full-time Security Officer Patrol Driver to protect clients across retail and mall sites. This role combines visible security with exceptional customer service as you patrol on foot and by vehicle, deter incidents, and assist tenants, shoppers, and staff.

A valid driver's license is required; you will work a late afternoon/evening schedule from Tue to Sat, earning $19.75 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, shoppers, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical situations, and other critical events in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout the retail center, including common areas, parking areas, loading zones, entrances, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor for unusual activity, access concerns, property damage, and/or policy violations, and report observations through established site procedures.
• Assist with access control, directions, visitor inquiries, and coordination with site management and first responders as needed.

As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Driver in Buffalo, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an unarmed Security Officer at a busy retail and mall location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and assist visitors, tenants, and staff with exceptional customer service. • Wed 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM
• Thur 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM
• Fri 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM
• Sat 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM

What You’ll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
