Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Driver in Amarillo, Texas. You will provide customer service to visitors and staff while patrolling a retail location and supporting safe operations.

This role requires a valid driver’s license, being at least 18, and passing a background check and drug screen. The shift schedule includes nights and weekends, with pay at $15.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license is required.
• Background investigation and drug screen are required as a condition of employment.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, residents, staff, and/or clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and notifying appropriate personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of retail areas, residential or hospitality-style facilities, parking areas, and surrounding perimeters to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials when required, and provide directions or assistance in accordance with site procedures.
• Complete required reports, maintain accurate activity logs, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal supervision and site contacts.

• Tue 06:00 AM - 02:30 PM
• Thur 02:30 PM - 11:00 PM
• Fri 02:30 PM - 11:00 PM

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
