Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or members of the public while following site procedures and emergency response plans.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations calmly and report them per procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, grounds, and parking areas to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe activity, reporting concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Prepare clear activity reports and incident documentation per requirements.

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a government location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and provide professional customer service. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Tue: 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM
• Wed: 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM
• Thur: 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM
• Fri: 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM
• Sat: 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or members of the public while carrying out site-specific procedures, government location policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and notification procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location, reporting suspicious behavior, hazards, maintenance concerns, and/or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Prepare clear, accurate activity reports and incident documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
