Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, customers, and store personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of retail sales floors, entrances, parking areas, loading docks, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor for suspicious activity, potential theft, policy violations, and hazards; document observations and notify appropriate personnel and/or emergency services when needed.
• Maintain professional firearms proficiency and handle assigned equipment in accordance with Allied Universal policies, applicable laws, and site requirements.

As a Armed Security Officer Full Time Shop Patrol in Big Spring, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer at a retail location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license and Level III Armed Certification. What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a Level III Armed Certification for Texas positions.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
