Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Coordination in Los Angeles, CA. You will patrol, monitor access points, respond to incidents, and maintain a visible security presence at an automotive location to deter unauthorized activity and ensure safety.

The role requires supervisory experience, familiarity with badge systems and alarm panels, and compliance with background checks and drug screening.

Qualifications

• Supervisory experience is required.
• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
• Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background investigation and drug screen required by Allied Universal.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors at an automotive location by following site procedures and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations calmly and document observations.
• Conduct regular patrols of manufacturing areas, parking lots, exterior grounds, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, and report unauthorized entry attempts or suspicious activity.

As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Coordination in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic automotive location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, respond to security-related incidents, and maintain a visible presence to help deter unwanted activity. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors at an automotive manufacturing location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.


• Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and escalating concerns according to site procedures.


• Conduct regular and random patrols of manufacturing areas, parking lots, exterior grounds, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.


• Monitor access points, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and report unauthorized entry attempts or suspicious activity to appropriate personnel.


• Complete required activity logs, incident reports, and shift handoff communications accurately and in a timely manner.

Minimum Requirements:

• Supervisory experience is required.


• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.


• Experience with alarm panels is preferred.


• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.


• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.


• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.


• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.


• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.


• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
