Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Area Checks in Honolulu, HI. You will monitor and patrol campus areas, deter incidents, and assist students, faculty, staff, and visitors with excellent customer service.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a higher education location, you will work a set schedule and maintain a visible presence while following site procedures and reporting incidents in a timely manner.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 18 for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check will be conducted as per laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors and campus community by following site procedures and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances and critical situations calmly and notify appropriate personnel or emergency responders.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of campus buildings, walkways, parking areas and perimeter locations.
• Monitor access points and observe activity to deter unauthorized access and support a welcoming campus environment.
• Document incidents and patrol activity in accordance with site reporting procedures.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Area Checks in Honolulu, HI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a higher education location, you will monitor and patrol campus areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support students, faculty, staff, and visitors with exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and campus community members by carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate campus personnel and/or emergency responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of campus buildings, walkways, parking areas, and perimeter locations; working environments and conditions may vary throughout the location.
• Monitor access points and observe activity for unusual conditions, helping to deter unauthorized access and supporting a welcoming campus environment.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activity in accordance with site-specific reporting procedures.

Minimum Requirements

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
