Allied Universal in Honolulu, HI is seeking a Security Officer for Full Time Patrol Area Checks. You will monitor campus areas, deter incidents, and provide exceptional customer service to students, faculty, staff and visitors.

This unarmed role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and a guard card/license preferred. A background check and drug screen are required where permitted by law, with licensing requirements varying by locality. Shift schedule includes rotating night hours.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and campus community members by carrying out site-specific procedures and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate campus personnel and/or emergency responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of campus buildings, walkways, parking areas, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor access points and observe activity for unusual conditions, helping to deter unauthorized access and support a welcoming campus environment.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activity in accordance with site-specific reporting procedures.

As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Area Checks in Honolulu, HI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a higher education location, you will monitor and patrol campus areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support students, faculty, staff, and visitors with exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
