Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer in Passaic, NJ for full-time unarmed patrol at a financial institution. You will monitor access, perform patrols, and provide customer service while upholding site policies and incident reporting.

The role requires at least one year of security experience, high school diploma, and a strong focus on safety and integrity. Background checks and drug screening apply as per law.

Qualifications

• At least one year of security-related experience.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and customers at a financial institution by carrying out security procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional manner; notify appropriate personnel and complete required reports.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of banking areas, offices, entrances, parking areas, and the property perimeter to deter unauthorized access.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor and employee activity, directing individuals to appropriate locations as needed.
• Document daily activities, incidents, and observations accurately while maintaining a professional presence.

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Access Accountability in Passaic, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a financial institution, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control activities. You will provide outstanding customer service and clear communication while working as part of an agile, reliable, and innovative Allied Universal team that puts people first and acts with integrity.

Pay Rate: $21.53 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Tue 09:00 AM - 05:00 PM
• Wed 09:00 AM - 05:00 PM
• Thur 09:00 AM - 06:00 PM
• Fri 09:00 AM - 06:00 PM
• Sat 09:00 AM - 02:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Monitor access points and observe visitor and employee activity in accordance with site procedures, directing individuals to appropriate locations as needed.
• Document daily activities, incidents, and observations accurately while maintaining a professional presence at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
